Who we are
About WIPA
The Wedding Industry Professionals Association is a not-for-profit trade association serving roughly 3,000 wedding industry professionals across 25 chapters in the United States. Founded in 2008, WIPA exists to raise the standard of practice in the industry through education, community, and a shared code of ethics.
Members run the gamut of wedding industry disciplines — planners, photographers, venues, florists, caterers, designers, officiants, and the many adjacent roles that make modern weddings possible. Chapter boards lead the work locally; a national board sets direction across the organization.
